Pre-launch changes (1/5)
Reforging System
The Reforging mechanic has received a major update, bringing more depth and strategic impact:
New Reforging Formula
- All attributes now influence the outcome.
- DEX has the highest weight.
- The relevance increases as the attribute value moves away from 1.
Standard Reforging
- Removed intermediate reinforcements for each type. For example, in the MATK category, Reinforce II was removed, leaving only Reinforce I and III (which have been renamed to I and II).
New Reinforcements available:
- Acc Reinforcement, Crit Reinforcement, Def Reinforcement, M.Def Reinforcement, Thorns Reinforcement, Aspd Reinforcement, Range Reinforcement
Special Reforging
- Special reforging bonuses are now based on the weapon's refinement level, unlocking additional bonuses at higher weapon tiers.
New special reinforcements:
- Strength Core, Healing Core, Critical Core, Agility Core, Delay After Attack Core, Perfect Flee Core, Vitality Core, Healing Power Core, Damage Rebounce Core, Intelligence Core, Variable Cast Core, Fixed Cast Core, Dexterity Core, After Cast Core, Skill Cooldown Core, Luck Core, Physical Strike Core, Magical Strike Core
General Rules
- It is no longer possible to use two reforged weapons simultaneously. Only the right hand reforge will be applied.
- Extraordinary Reforging will not be available at launch.

Updated the recipes for:

- Gloomy Poison Bottles
Increased quest equipment durability: 3 → 4
Economy
Stargrade - Price of the Stars
Minor Stars
- 1st star: from 2.400z to 2.500z (+4.17%).
- 2nd star: from 9,400z to 4,500z (-52.13%).
- 3rd star: from 18,400z to 8,500z (-53.80%).
- 4th star: from 33,400z to 16,500z (-50.60%).
- 5th star: from 52,400z to 44,500z (-15.08%).
- From the 6th to the 20th star, the average reduction is approximately -12% compared to the previous prices.
Major Stars
- 1st star: from 138,000z to 16,000z (-88.41%).
- 2nd star: from 338,000z to 174,000z (-48.52%).
- 3rd star: from 666,800z to 585,000z (-12.30%).
- 4th star: from 1,134,800z to 1,361,500z (+20.02%).
- 5th star: from 1.736.800z to 2.621.500z (+50.94%).
Sales System
- A fee of 5% on Vending has been applied.
- Benefactors are exempt from the fee.
Weapons & Equipment
- Fixed an issue with the calculation of stargrade stat percentage bonuses (STR, AGI, VIT, etc).
- Fixed an issue with the calculation of weapon refinement bonuses.
- Changed size penalty for whip against Large enemies: 50% → 75%.
Skill Changes
Roles
Furious Approach
- Changed P.STRIKE effect → Melee Damage.
- Now jumps toward the target based on the user’s facing direction, instead of always positioning behind the enemy.
Merchants
Marine Sphere
- Fixed damage calculation (no longer considers master's HP).
- Excessive knockback corrected.
- Added the knockback effect to the skill's description.
- Fixed issue where AP regeneration would not start.
- Fixed usage in Niflheim.
Cannibalize
- Fixed usage in Niflheim.
Mammonite
- Base Zeny Pouch requirement removed.
- Reduced damage: 600% → 400%.
- Base chance to Stun removed.
New mechanics:
- HCM (Hit Chance Modifier) bonus added: 5% ~ 50%.
If there is a Zeny Pouch in the inventory
- Consume 1 pouch per level.
- Adds chance to Stun: 10% + 1% per level.
- Adds damage bonus: +20% per level.
Maximum Power Thrust
- Zeny Pouch consumption increased: 5 → 100.
Cart Revolution
- Added HCM (Hit Chance Modifier) bonus: 5% ~ 50%.
Swordsman
Sword Mastery
- Accuracy bonus corrected.
Pierce
- Fixed damage description.
- Changed ASPD bonus (percentage increase based on current aspd) to DAA (Delay After Attack).
Auto Counter
- Fixed EXP gain when killing monsters.
Gospel
- Updated visual effect: displayed only for group members.
Devotion
- Fixed unintended excessive HP increase.
- Fixed issue with HP not properly updating when unlinking allies.
- Now properly reduces the cooldown of Lay on Hands based on the number of devoted allies.
Sacrifice
- It is now possible to choose the level used for the skill.
Acolytes
Angelus, Blessing, Increase Agility, Decrease Agility
- Improved Job Lv bonus to prevent efficiency loss when changing classes.
Decrease Agility
- Fixed the calculation formula (reduces AGI by 5 + (Skill Lv × 2)).
- Fixed skill description.
Increase Agility
- Added the duration to the skill's description.
Sanctuary
- Added Healing Received bonus to the skill's description.
Call Spirits Spheres
- Fixed the skill's functionality (did not correctly invoke spheres in certain situations).
Flight Fist & Fallen Fist
- Fixed usage after Pacify.
- Can now be used bare-handed.
Chain Fist
- Can now be used bare-handed.
Thiefs
Double Attack
- ACC (Accuracy) bonus removed.
- Now guarantees HCM (Hit Chance Multiplier) on basic attacks and abilities.
- Now increases E.ATK (Extra Attack).
- Added interaction with Vulture’s Eyes and One-Handed Sword Mastery to the skill's description.
Throw Stone
- Final damage increase: 200% → 300%.
- Reduction in chance of Stun: 40% → 30%.
- Added Stun duration time to the description.
Sprinkle Sand
- Added W.ATK (Weapon Attack) buff as Earth (similar to Magnum Break).
Raid
- Corrected skill description to show accurate requirements.
Triple Strafe Charge
- Fixed a bug when performing basic bow attacks with Rogue.
Mages
Fire Wall
- Corrected SP consumption values in the skill description.
Soul Drain
- Fixed maximum SP increase (now correctly applies the total value).
Free Cast
- Fixed walk delay calculation when casting abilities.
Archers
Trap Research
- Removed from the Plagiarism list.
Falconry Mastery
- Added bonus auto-cast chance of Blitz Beat to the skill's description.
Artists (Clowns & Gypsies)
Solo
Several dances have been reworked into mobile ground-based group buffs. These summon a 7×7 area that follows the user and continuously grants buffs to nearby allies. These dances no longer require another Artist to activate. While active, the user can only perform support abilities (music, dances, healing, etc.).
- Into the Abyss: 25% chance of not consuming Catalysts.
- The Ring of Nibelungen: activates a random bonus (All Stats +10, Accuracy +10%, Flee +10%, Delay After Attack -15%, Extra Attack +15%, Extra Magic Attack +15%, Max HP +30%, Max SP +30%, SP Cost -30%, HP Recovery +75%, SP Recovery +50%).
- Invulnerable Siegfried: Negative Status Effect Resistance +15%, resistances to Fire, Earth, Water, and Wind +15%.
- Drum of Battlefield: B.ATK +40, B.MATK +40.
All listed bonuses refer to the maximum levels of the skills.
Duets
Several duets have been reworked into area debuffs. These duets apply debuff effects to enemies within a 13×13 area centered on the user and can only be activated if an allied Artist is within 6 cells. Only one debuff effect can be active on enemies at a time.
- Lullaby: every 10 seconds, attempts to apply Sleep for 4 seconds on the enemy.
- Eternal Chaos: reduces the enemy's Defense and Magic Defense by 30%.
- Mr. Kim A Rich Man: increases the enemy's EXP rate by 20%.
- Loki’s Wail: enemy abilities have a 30% chance of failing.
All listed bonuses refer to the maximum levels of the skills.

Tarot Card of Fate:
- fixed the description for "The Tower" buff
Whistle:
- changed Flee bonus: +40 → +15%
Assassin Cross Sunset:
- reduced DAA bonus: 25% → 15%
- changed True Damage scaling: 100 → Base Lv ÷ (11 - Skill Lv)
Poem of Bragi:
- changed from FCT reduction to Cooldown reduction
- reduced bonus: 25% → 15%
Apple of Idun:
- reduced HP bonus: 20% → 10%
- added HP Recovery: 15%
Humming:
- removed Armor Pierce bonus
- changed Perfect Accuracy +10 → Accuracy +15%
- reduced Physical Long Damage bonus: 20% → 15%
Don’t Forget Me:
- changed True Defense +100 → Slow Resistance +15%
Fortune Kiss:
- increased Critical bonus: +10 → +15
- reduced Critical Damage bonus: 20% → 15%
Belly Dance:
- reduced Max SP bonus: 20% → 10%
- reduced SP Cost reduction: 20% → 15%
- reduced SP Recovery bonus: 20% → 15%
Singularities
- Garment: Flee +% and Perfect Flee +% have been replaced by Soft MDef and Hard MDef.
- Shoes: Soft MDef and Hard MDef have been replaced by HP Recovery every 10 Seconds and SP Recovery every 10 Seconds.
- Certain singularities that should be treated as a single category have been organized into subgroups. Singularities within the same subgroup now share the same selection chance:
- Damage (Racial/Elemental/Size)
- Damage Reduction (Racial/Elemental/Size)
- Inflict a Negative Status
- Negative Status When Receiving Damage
- Base Stats (STR, AGI, INT, etc.)
Maps & Systems
- Dungeon effect added in Turtle Island.
- Removed the Karmic Crossing zeny cost to access maps where the associated quest has already been completed.
- Removed the ability to cast Ice Wall in cities.

Other Changes
- Fixed an issue where the Alchemist class quest would randomly reset its progress.
- Fixed an issue with incorrect stat calculation when using Gems.
- Fixed an issue with Valor Brew True ATK not counting as ranged physical damage when attacking from range.
- Added visual effect when consuming Valor Brew.
In progress
In addition to the updates made during the week, we have some activities that are still ongoing:
- Class and role skills, improvements, and bug fixes are still being applied across all classes.
- We have reviewed and updated the behavior of both normal and elite monsters in fields and dungeons, and have now begun working on the behavior of rare monsters.
- Our marketing campaign is being finalized and we intend to launch the campaign by September 10th.
- Client/overlay optimization.
